2ND AUGUST CELL

Hello my brother and sister in Christ. There are so many things on my heart that I want to express. I have received many feedbacks on the Cell regarding its effectiveness and unity. And frankly speaking as much as there are a handful of people that are really passionate about God and desire a good fellowshipping session, there are still a few people in the cell that are very disruptive. On this, this coming Sunday will be a reflective one. A very transparent one. We will be spending the cell time reflecting on how the cell can be true Godly cell where everyone can cooperate as one. I trust that many of the cell members are matured, however there are still some that are easily distracted. On this, this Sunday I will be very open on my thoughts and the desire for the Cell. Because leading a 20 strong cell with people of divided vision and maturity is not going to see this Cell end goal of Glorifying God. If this persist, this might lead me in splitting the cell (Which I would hate to do). I really really appreciate those whom have highlighted their concern for their Cell and gave very constructive feedback on it. So for this Sunday, we are going to discuss on the conduct of the cell, the future of the cell and reflecting on how it should be going. So the programme for this Sunday Cell will be:

(1) My Address towards the Cell
(2) A time of Worship (I will be leading)
(3) Recap on last week Soul Winning Series
(4) Reflection and heart to heart talk on vital issues

Please please keep this Cell and everyone in prayer, because a cell that does not grow shows that the unity is either broken or people has divided vision.

Please ponder on the following verse because I think it has a great connection on who are the true disciple of our Lord Jesus:
13
7 8 "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many.
14
How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.
15
9 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves.
16
By their fruits you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17
Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit.
18
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit.
19
Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
20
So by their fruits you will know them.
21
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, 10 but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.
22
Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?'
23
Then I will declare to them solemnly, 'I never knew you. 11 Depart from me, you evildoers.'
24
12 "Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.
25
The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.
26
And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand.
27
The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. And it collapsed and was completely ruined."
28
13 When Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at his teaching,
29
14 for he taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.

PS: Anything outside of Christ is Vanity and hopelessness

Brotherly Love

Jason
